Ship in a bottle

This song came about when Angela and Jen hijacked Treks in Sci fi and went for a ride on the Internet. KTRK radio played this hit all about the TNG episode, ship in a bottle. It of course is to the tune of Jim Croce, Time in a bottle. Have fun. 🙂 Ah, yes, I got to use the words Heisenberg Compensators . If that isn’t fun, I don’t know what is.

Ship in a bottle
Sung to the tune of “Time in a bottle” by Jim Croce

If I could watch ship in a bottle
The show with James Moriarty
I’d laugh at Barclay
As he stutters to say
You’re aware, this just can’t be.

If I could make photons be solid
The first thing that I’d like to do
Is to help James make Regina for real and then
Again, she could be human too.

But the Heisenberg Compensators
Won’t do the things I want to do
Once I enhanced them
Ive tried real hard enough to know
It’s just not really poss-ible
On the Holodeck

If I could play Holmes like ol’ Data
And Geordi would be Watson too
I’d fix the holodeck
So things could be perfect
Just so that they could spend time just the two

But to makes things right we have to fool
And use his ruse to save the duo
And  help them
So we’ll stick them in a fake shuttle
So they can go where they want to go
for a lifetime.
